Here are a few of the most frequently asked questions by those who want to know just a little more.
Do I get a refund if I’ve pre-ordered a ticket and you close? If you purchased an online ticket and we must close due to bad weather, we will issue you a rain check for another date at the maze or offer a refund if a rain check is not applicable. No refunds are issued otherwise.
How long does it take to do the maze? An average guests time in the maze is approximately an hour to an hour and a half, but may vary widely! Our maze is not a “classic” maze with a designated start point and a goal to find your way out. Instead, our maze is an interactive experience where you are given a map and tasked to find specific points or game stations inside the maze. The speed of which you will complete our maze is based on your efficiency moving between the points on the map, your ease of reading a map, and your drive to reach every point! Because you have a map, and our entrance/exit point is the same, it is very simple to find your way in and out of the maze at your convenience. You need not complete the maze or find every point to exit easily or to enjoy your experience.
Is Mike’s Maze wheelchair accessible? Mike’s Maze is on a working farm. The parking area and walkways are not paved. Inside the maze, the paths are hard-packed soil. Many with special mobility needs have been able to move freely about the grounds and enjoyed maze.
Can I re-enter the maze? Guests wishing to re-enter the maze on the day of their paid admissions may do so provided they have left on their wrist band for that day.
Can I bring my own food and drink? Guests are welcome to bring in water, necessary baby food, and snacks for medical needs. The Corn Cafe at Mike’s Maze serves many options for food and drink, suitable for any special diet needs. Therefore, we ask that you do not bring in your own beyond what was listed above as acceptable. Outside food may be brought in only by special arrangement for private groups and parties.
Can I bring my dog? Dogs are unfortunately not allowed at Mike’s Maze except for during our Special Dog Walker’s Weekend, occurring the last weekend of our season. Because we are are a working farm, dogs pose a food safety issue, and must be banned from the farm property as a whole. Guests may not carry dogs in their arms, in bags, or strollers while on our farm property. Medically needed assistance dogs will be excepted, but guests must check in at admissions for special permissions upon arrival.
Lost and Found? We do have a lost and found area in the Admissions booth. If you believe you have lost an item at the maze, you can stop by the booth during our public hours of operation or contact us at mikesmaze@warnerfarm.com. Items that have been found at Mike’s Maze and have not been claimed by the end of business on our last day of the season will be donated to charity as appropriate. Mike’s Maze does not assume responsibility for any lost or stolen personal property.
What happened to the Zombie Night Patrol?
We no longer have the Night Patrol attraction.
A big “Thank You!” to everyone who came out to Mike’s at Night in the past to participate in our Zombie Night Patrol. You have successfully eradicated the zombies from our corn fields!
Is there a Haunted Maze this year?
We no longer have a Haunted Maze attraction.
Mike has managed to lock away the giant demon that had been haunting our maze after dark. Now that our guests can visit our fields without fright, Mike has invited over all his beer brewing buddies from the best local breweries in our area. On Friday nights in October you can visit Mike’s Maze and find the brewers who are lost in our corn field, and they’ll give you a taste of their beer when you do!
